Little Girls, Little Bows and Giving Back

We love love love highlighting Canadian companies on Fabulous Finds so we were so excited when we found Ladybugs and Lullabies on Twitter! We thought their hair accessories were so cute, we e-mailed them straight away to ask for a sample. We just had to get our hands on their bows that are so popular with celebrities like Brooke Shields, Jessica Alba and Jennifer Garner!

"I created Ladybugs and Lullabies because I couldn't find good quality hair accessories that would stay in my baby girl's hair," Allyson Grabish, Owner of Ladybug and Lullabies says. "I initially started looking for a headband and then on to hair clips and all of the ones that I found either didn't stay on or they left marks on her little head, and I would end up having to take them off. I couldn't find any hair accessories that actually stayed in."

Allyson went on a search to find a type of clip that would stay in baby fine hair and after lot's of searching and research, she found one that worked. She eventually started selling her clips and today, people all over North America are flipping out over these adorable creations. Another amazing thing about this company? They give back to charity.
Ladybugs and Lullabies has collaborated with the Bailey Baio Angel Foundation, started by Scott and Renee Baio after their daughter Bailey tested positive for a metabolic disorder known as G-A 1. The Baio's started the foundation to help raise awareness about this disorder.

Ladybugs and Lullabies, to show their support, created a clip named after Bailey. A portion of the proceeds of each clip go directly to support the foundation.

How heart warming is that? If you want to support the Bailey Baio Angel Foundation, click here.

Father's Day Card Ideas

We know how hard it is sometimes to pick out a Father's Day gift, trust us, our dad's are picky and we're tired of giving the same old gifts like golf balls, golf clothes, golf gift certificates...you get the point!

This year, why don't you start with something a little more easy like a wicked home made card? Yes it's true, we just used the word wicket!
You know how obsessed we are with Etsy.com so it should be no surprise that we were stoked to stumble upon PaperBasics.

Their cards are so cute and reasonably priced, ranging from $2.00 to $3.00 USD. Each handmade colourful card is made with think card stock, specialty paper, buttons and chipboard letters. All cards are left blank inside so you can write your own special message. Comes with matching white envelope. Both the card and envelope measure 5x7.

Visit PaperBasics today to place your order but please note: all Father's Day Card orders must be placed by June 17 to ensure you receive your cards on time!
