I promise this will conclude the MikoDesign-stalking (for now)...but I can't resist sharing this last one.

I love how Erika has taken a very traditional (circus) theme and done something really unique with it . The silhouette of her daughter Mila 'balancing' on a rope is a great twist on the technique, and a dress-up/staging area for Mila's guests' portraits is really creative as well. More here!

Okay, now that I am officially obsessed with Erika of MikoDesign, I can't help but keep sharing all of her great parties.

Though I think it's tough to beat Frida (see below), this Japanese-inspired party is pretty fabulous as well.

frida kahlo birthday party (!!!!!)

Uh...MAZ-ING.

I'm left speechless by these party pictures...there's not much I can say in words that these pictures can't express! Every single detail is brilliant. While I'm usually not a fan of 'photo birthday cakes', I think it works soooo perfectly in this instance, with the birthday girl (Sofia) dressed as iconic Frida in a portrait-style photo.

If you are as obsessed with this party as I am, you must check out each and every picture right here (there are many more!). MikoDesign has really outdone herself.

(And a big thank you to Yolanda for making sure I didn't miss this amazing party! Now I'm just left wondering...how do I raise a daughter who at age 8 requests a Frida Kahlo party!?)

So sad to see The Peach closed up shop...I had long loved these vintage car toppers. She has, however, moved on to creating cupcakes of her own, including these brilliant Elmo ones.
